Smoke on tour: Day 5

The final day of Smoke on tour has arrived!

The Smoke crew are busy setting up at The Undercroft bar in Harrow, ready to bring you live shows and live music all day. We will have live performances from Abi Thommes, Foxx Bandits, Beneath the Beach the Pavement, Who’s Breakin’ and Missing White Women.

There will also be a BBQ, a bottle and judging by the weather, lots of sunshine for you to enjoy!

Smoke on tour: The end of day 4

The penultimate day of Smoke on tour is coming to an end.

The team have been live from Cavendish all day, broadcasting live from the foyer of the site bringing you live shows and some fantastic music.

Tomorrow sees Smoke back on home turf at the Undercroft in Harrow. We will have live music from Abi Thommes from our very university artists, a BBQ, a bottle and hopefully lots of sunshine.

Things kick off at 11 as usual with Rich and Spike presenting the final breakfast show of the week.

Make sure you tune in and if you are in Harrow head down to the bar to share the fun!

Smoke on tour: Day 4

Today sees the Smoke team take over the Cavendish site on day 4 of the Smoke tour.

Fresh from an action packed day in Marylebone yesterday, today Smoke Radio is broadcasting from our fourth location. If you are down at Cavendish today make sure you look out for us – we will be the ones with headphones and lots of technical equipment! – and drop by and say hello. You can even get involved with your favourite shows and get yourself on air!

Smoke on tour: The end of day 3

The third day of Smoke’s London tour is coming to an end.

The Smoke team have been live from the Inter:Mission bar all day bringing you live shows and some fantastic performances from our very own MCs.

Tomorrow we are down at Cavendish bringing you more fantastic shows from your favourite radio station and more chances to win tickets to the Grad Ball at Koko! As usual, Rich and Spike will kicking things off from 11 with the breakfast show so make sure you’re tuned in.

Smoke on tour: Day 3

It’s day number 3 and today Smoke Radio are hitting Marylebone.

If you are in or around the Marylebone site today make sure you pop down to Inter:Mission and say hello to the Smoke team. There will also be some of our very own MCs performing live for you to enjoy if you needed any more persuading.

We’ve got more great shows and great music coming your way all day so make sure you stay tuned to your student radio station.

Smoke on tour: The end of day 2

After a long day, the end of day 2 of the Smoke tour is upon us.

The Smoke team have been all over London today and you can check out what they got up to and how they managed to infiltrate the Regent Street campus over on our Tumblr page.

Tomorrow we are down at the Marylebone site with live shows and music from Inter:Mission. We’ve got MCs for your listening pleasure and of course more of your favourite shows and presenters.

As usual Rich and Spike will be kicking things off from 11 with the breakfast show so make sure you wake up and enjoy your morning coffee with them!

Smoke on tour: Day 2

After the success of day one of the Smoke Tour, the Smoke team are breaking free from Harrow and onto the streets of Central London.

We will be all over the capital this afternoon looking for unsuspecting people to be on the radio – so if you see anyone in a Smoke t-shirt or carrying a lot of recording equipment, make sure you go and say hello!

We’ve also got tickets for the Grad Ball at Koko for you to get your hands on. To win, all you need to do is listen to Smoke (which you will be doing anyway of course!) and let us know by tagging us in your Facebook status or Twitter updates. Matty and Manish will be announcing the winner in the ‘go home’ show between 5 and 7 so make sure you stay tuned.

Smoke on tour: The end of day 1

The Smoke team are rounding up our first day of the Smoke tour at the Harrow campus.

We have heard some brilliant live music from our very own students. Kyra Santiago, Nicola Hogg, We Hate Shotput, Evy for the Kill and Sherika Shearard have all performed for us live at The Undercroft today. Keep listening to Smoke all week to hear some of the songs from each performer.

Tomorrow we are moving away from our North West London home and venturing into central. We will start at our Regent Street site and broadcast from around the capital during the day. We will also be giving you the chance to win tickets to the end of year ball. To get your hands on a pair you will need to be listening to Smoke and let us know by tagging us in your Facebook status or Twitter updates – simple as that!

Smoke on tour: Day 1

Smoke’s marathon week of broadcasting kicks off today!

We will be starting the week at our base in Harrow, however to give things a bit of a twist we will be live from the Undercroft bar.

We’ve got live acts for you throughout the day plus tickets to the end of year ball to give away so make sure you’re tuned in for your chance to win and keep checking the website for updates.

If you are around Harrow today make sure you pop down to the ‘Croft and say hello to the Smoke team, the more the merrier! You can even buy us a drink if you like!

Smoke Fest 2010

With summer well on the way – plans for Smoke’s very own festival are being finalised.

Forget Glastonbury and Reading, ‘Smoke Fest’ is where you need to be this summer. From the 17th May right through until the 21st, Smoke will be broadcasting from each campus bringing you live bands, singers and MCs. We will round the week off in Smoke’s home Harrow campus with even more festival fun.

Keep checking back to the Smoke website and keep your eyes peeled around the university for posters with more details about the event.
