Whatever your interest, there's a place for you at Smoke! We'll be holding a meeting on Wednesday, 21st October at the back of the Refectory in Harrow at 2pm. You need JavaScript enabled to view it Daytime programming is like that you'd find on Radio 1 or Capital, you have a playlist already made for you and you fill the gaps with topical banter, features, competitions and whatever you like. Specialist Programming Jade Gebbie - This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it Specialist shows are broadcast after 7pm, they can be about anything at all - whether it be a specific genre of music or any other interest of yours which wouldn't exactly fit in a daytime show. If you're studying at Westminster and you're in a band we can gve you airplay! Westminster's Finest showcases talent from your uni and puts it at the top of the playlist! Email Jamie for more info. You need JavaScript enabled to view it The Smoke website has been completely redesigned for the 2009/10 term, and with that we're looking to get loads more content on it! We'll need photographers to cover our club nights and live sessions, as well as camera ops and editors to record the action on video! If you don't want to present a live show for whatever reason, you can always make a podcast which will appear exclusively on the Smoke site and on iTunes. You need JavaScript enabled to view it This year, Smoke will be focussing a lot more attention on news, and with that we'll need script writers, news readers and people to contribute to the new Smoke Radio News blog. If you have an idea for the next big night or want to help in any way, just ask Luke. Marketing James Bedwell - This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it What's the point of having an award winning radio station if nobody knows we exist? That's why our marketing team are so important to us! We'll need people to help design posters and flyers, promote the station and events and generally get our name out there! You need JavaScript enabled to view it When you listen to Smoke, you'll no doubt here a jingle telling you to get involved, what show it is or just what station you're listening to. All these are made by our sound team in uni. If you'd like to get involved making these jingles, idents, trails etc, or if you're a music student who'd like to write some music for us, drop Manish and email.
